Osteoporosis - MayoClinic.com

What is the most important determinant of long-term skeletal health? Bone mass attained in EARLY LIFE! This means if you're 30-35 - this is the the main time that you need to build up your bone (and when most people lead "lazy" lifestyles!). Get up and go exercise!

This is common in men, too. It is not as common as with women but it is often not diagnosed as often b/c men do not seek care as often, etc.

Also, note: Women can lose 20% of their bone mass in the first 5 years AFTER MENOPAUSE!

Go out and exercise, take your Vit. D and Calcium!
